Angela is a jewellery designer/maker living in Little Sutton. Wirral born and largely self taught, Angela works in her fully equipped home workshop creating beautiful bespoke jewellery. Working in precious metals and with precious gemstones Angela loves contemporary styles and keeps her designs simple, clean and understated. She loves to experiment with designs and construction methods especially with her 10 tonne hydraulic press! Angela’s latest work includes recycling of old jewellery to make gorgeous contemporary pieces. Angela also loves to emboss patterns on metal surfaces, which are then press formed in to 3d shapes and then set with gemstones to give truly unique designs.
Angela is registered with the Birmingham Assay Office where her work is fully hallmarked.
Not only does Angela make and sell her work at Galleries and Designer/Maker Craft Fairs, she also takes on commission work, repairs and runs workshops to teach this wonderful craft to others. Many of her commissions is the up cycling of old jewellery were old gold or silver jewellery (with or without gemstones) is melted down and made into new contemporary designs. Old or new stones can be set in to the new jewellery so that the sentimental value is not lost and items can still be worn.
