I am a Wirral-based photographer specialising in landscape photography. I like to try and capture just a glimpse of what nature offers us; the changing seasons, variable weather and wonderful light. I am particularly attracted by coastal scenes, as the tide provides another variable element, ensuring that the view is never quite the same. Although we have a reputation for complaining about the weather, as a photographer I feel privileged to live here – with lots of coastline and an unpredictable climate, it makes for great photographic opportunities.
Recently I have started to broaden my portfolio and now have a growing collection of architectural and abstract images. My abstract images are mostly created using a technique called Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), where the camera is deliberately moved during long exposures, creating interesting and sometimes surreal effects.
I also offer tailored photographic tuition on either a one to one or small group basis. This is suitable for all skill levels and can help you get the most from your camera and image software.
